Congratulations Megan!

Living Active with Diabetes! A great example is Megan Winans, a long-time CDF camper who moved up from JV to Varsity on the Hood River High School girls basketball team this year. After a recent Friday night game, Megan was interviewed by a local newspaper. Way to go Megan! Mom Gretchen says, "We are very proud of her hard work and her pledge to never let her diabetes get in the way of her ability to compete." Send your Valentine a special message, and help youth with diabetes. Donate $50 or more, and we'll send a Valentine eCard on February 14th, 2011 to your Valentine letting them know of your generous donation in their honor.

100% of the proceeds will help fund the Chris Dudley Basketball Camp for youth with diabetes. This program is critical to so many campers and they rely on this program every summer. We are thrilled to announce that on December 15, 2010, our very own Courtney Beall, CDF Media Director, gave birth to a 9 lb 15 ounce baby boy! "Cooper Gaynor Beall" arrived in the world happy and healthy through an induced labor. Mom, Dad and big sister Piper are doing great and thoroughly enjoying their new addition.
