Living Active with Diabetes! A great example is Megan Winans, a long-time CDF camper who moved up from JV to Varsity on the Hood River High School girls basketball team this year. After a recent Friday night game, Megan was interviewed by a local newspaper. Way to go Megan! Mom Gretchen says, "We are very proud of her hard work and her pledge to never let her diabetes get in the way of her ability to compete."
